Christie Lamb has been described as ‘the full package’, a vibrant multi-instrumental and award winning singer songwriter. Adding to her ever-growing mantle of awards, Christie was voted ‘CMC Female Artist of the Year 2018’ by Australian Country Music Fans.
The talented songstress has been the recipient of a Golden Guitar for ‘CMAA New Talent of the Year 2016’ and was also voted ‘CMC New Oz Artist of the Year 2015’ again by Country Music Fans.
Christie kicked off 2019 with a fun and fresh new single ‘Hot Hot Kiss’. The single debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Charts and made the top 20 on the All Genres iTunes Singles Chart. This is the first single from her eagerly awaited third album through ABC/Universal Music.
With a keen early interest in singing and song writing together with an eclectic array of musical influences, Lancaster has grown into a dynamic musician capable of moving seamlessly through a diverse range of genres. Her recent efforts erase the line between various styles and forms shaping a singular sound that defies any easy categorisation. It is a sound that has its roots in Nashville, Tennessee, Lancaster’s home away from home and the backdrop to her debut album, Piece Of Me. “Nashville is such an inspirational place. It is the most amazing place I’ve ever been to,” she says.
There will many options for food and beverages at the venue. Food stalls featuring local and international cuisine, licenced bars, snack food outlets and ice cream trucks.
Ample parking will be available at the event. There will also be a number of public transport options. Menangle Park Railway Station is close walking distance to the event.
We are expecting a big crowd on the day of the event. Please remember it is still hot this time of year so it may be a good idea to slip, slop, slap!
This is our chance to give something back and provide some much needed respite & recreation for a community that has been hit hard by the recent bushfire crisis. In the process we continue to raise much needed funds for our local RFS units and the community.
